In2Care is a young and dynamic research company that focuses on developing control solutions for disease-transmitting insects such as mosquitoes, ticks and flies. The In²Care team consists of three expert scientists (all with a PhD in medical entomology) who have the passion and drive to do meaningful research and create control innovations that can have a substantial impact on insect-transmitted diseases. Bart Knols is a highly creative scientist and one of the most well-known malaria experts in The Netherlands. He has an MBA, extensive work experience in developing countries and a large international network in mosquito research. Marit Farenhorst is a motivated scientist with a very practical and goal-oriented mindset. She has extensive experience in insect rearing, biological control agents and insecticide resistance. Remco Suer is an ambitious scientist with expertise in entrepreneurship and high affiliation with marketing and sales. He is an expert in insect olfaction, behaviour and neurology. The combination of these three creative, driven and out-of-the box thinking professionals, who are yet also worldly and down-to-earth, is what gives In2Care its innovative edge.
